The Haran School of Irish dance was founded by Deirdre Abeid many years ago. She was always focused on helping the community and making sure everyone had a wonderful time! After her passing in 2004, her daughter Claire Worley took over the school and has continued to make an impact on the community. Everyone loved Deirdre so much and she will always be in our thoughts! Claire passed her TCRG exam to become an official teacher so students could continue to compete as well as perform in local shows. The Haran Irish Dancers have competed and performed all over the world. They have had the privilege to tour as far as China, Japan, Austria, Europe, Canada, and all over the United States! Many students have also competed at the National and World competitions taking them as far as Canada, Ireland, and England. In 2015, Brittany Roberson, who has been dancing with the Haran Irish Dancers for 15+ years, also passed her TCRG exam to become an official teacher. She now helps Claire teach at both the Kettle Falls and Chewelah studios.
